In the early days of the pandemic I got a call from From Lifebridge Hospital. They were flooded with patients and loss of life and they needed their community to know the danger for their own safety and the safety of their staff.

I suggested that they keep it simple, let people see the staff coming off shift, and taking off their mask for the first time in months. We photographed everyone at a distance, we didn’t ask them to say anything. We just took a moment to breath.
