  • At J and L green farm in Edinburg, Virginia Jordan and Laura Green practice regenerative sutainable meat farming techniques. They raise animals ethically, entirely on pasture, pasture-raised poultry, forest-fed pork, and grass-fed and grass-finished beef. Here they go through the process of transferring pigs from one area to another so they can eat fresh grass and roam throughout the larger property.<br />

They raise animals ethically, entirely on pasture, pasture-raised poultry, forest-fed pork, and grass-fed and grass-finished beef. Here they go through the process of transferring pasture raised chickens from one area to another. Each day in the morning and the evening, they move the pens to a fresh patch of grass, slowly working their way across the feild. This has two effects of removing insects and fertilizing the feild over time.
